Charlotte Cassadine was conceived in an unconventional manner. Her mother, Lulu Falconeri had been kidnapped by Charlotte's uncle, Stavros Cassadine. He drugged Lulu, held her captive, and harvested her eggs with the intention of fertilizing one to give himself a new heir. However, Stavros' mother, Helena Cassadine, discovered that her son was sterile, so she had reached out to his infamous Valentin for assistance.
